Palamo Studio

About Us

We believe AI adoption shouldn't require a leap of faith. We're a small, bilingual consultancy that helps mid-market companies — especially in Latin America and the US — deploy AI with the governance, measurement, and accountability that boards and regulators demand.

What We Believe

Rigor Over Speed

We'd rather deploy one governed workflow than three unauditable ones. Every automation ships with guardrails, measurement, and a rollback plan.

Honest Partnership

We'll tell you if your timeline is unrealistic, your scope is too wide, or a simpler approach will serve you better. Trust is the foundation.

Outcomes Over Output

Lines of code aren't a metric. User adoption, revenue impact, and operational efficiency are. We measure what matters.

Meet the Team

Palamo Studio was founded by Rocio Palma and Hector Alamo — a CFO with 20+ years in corporate finance and a journalist-turned-AI-engineer who spent a decade covering communities that technology often overlooks. The name blends their surnames, reflecting the partnership at the core: financial discipline meets technical depth, English meets Spanish, strategy meets execution. They built Palamo to help companies — especially in Latin America and the US mid-market — adopt AI in a way that's governed, measurable, and built for the people it affects.

Hector Luis Alamo

Hector Luis Alamo

Co-Founder & AI Systems Architect

Hector spent a decade in Latino media — as an editor at Latino Rebels, a senior editor at Futuro Media Group, and a managing editor covering communities that tech rarely reaches. Then he taught himself to code through Harvard's CS50, earned HarvardX certificates in Data Science & Machine Learning and CS for AI, and built the production AI systems behind The Crash Log, a bilingual AI-powered newsletter covering the consequences of unchecked technology. He now designs governed AI workflows, bilingual content pipelines, and agentic systems that run in production 24/7. His edge: he thinks like a journalist and builds like an engineer, which means every system he ships is auditable, explainable, and built for people who ask hard questions.

Rocio Palma

Rocio Palma

CFO & Ops Governance Director

Rocio turns AI projects into CFO-credible programs. With 20+ years in corporate finance and executive education from Columbia Business School, she brings KPI framing, value tracking, process controls, and decision gates that prevent runaway automation spend. Her career spans NetSuite-driven operations, organizational scaling, and the kind of financial discipline that turns pilot results into board-approved budgets. She de-risks AI adoption by aligning technical rollout to financial accountability — where others chase momentum, Rocio builds foundations.

Our Process

Every engagement starts with a bounded pilot. Scope expands only when the metrics say so.

Baseline

Measure current process cost, time, and failure rate before any automation begins.

1

Design

Architect the orchestration layer with guardrails, approval gates, and rollback paths from day one.

2

Build

Iterative delivery with weekly progress. Reliability checks run in parallel with development.

3

Instrument

Deploy KPI tracking, audit logging, and the scorecard before going live.

4

Expand

Only after delta metrics confirm value. You get a reusable pattern, not a one-off.

5

Ready to Build Something Great?

Tell us about one high-friction workflow. We'll scope a pilot that proves value in 10 business days or less.
